About Our Wax Melts
What are wax melts and how do I use them?
Wax melts are small, scented pieces of soy wax that are gently warmed in a wax warmer to release fragrance into the air. Simply place one or two pieces into the dish of your wax warmer, switch on your electric warmer or light a tea light beneath, and within moments your chosen fragrance will begin to fill the room. When the scent fades, allow the wax to cool, remove it, and replace with a fresh melt.
How long do your wax melts last?
Each of our wax melts provides approximately 8–12 hours of fragrance per use, depending on the size of your room and the temperature of your warmer. The wax itself can be remelted multiple times until the scent fades completely.
Can I mix different scents together?
Absolutely! Mixing scents is one of the joys of wax melts. Try combining Sandalwood with White Musk for a warm, sophisticated blend, or pair Grapefruit with Mint & Rhubarb for a fresh, zingy burst of energy. Experiment and find your signature scent!
What is soy wax and why is it better?
Soy wax is a natural, plant-based wax made from soybean oil. Compared to traditional paraffin wax, soy wax burns cleaner, lasts longer, and is biodegradable — making it a much more eco-friendly choice. All of our wax melts are made with premium soy wax, hand-poured in small batches in the UK.
Safety
Are your wax melts safe for pets and children?
Our wax melts are made with skin-safe fragrance oils, however we always recommend keeping wax warmers out of reach of children and pets. Some fragrance oils may not be suitable for animals, particularly cats and birds, who can be sensitive to essential oils. Please refer to the allergen information on each product page and consult your vet if you have concerns.
What if I have an allergic reaction?
All of our products include full allergen information on the product page. If you experience any adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary. Please contact us and we will do our best to help find a suitable alternative fragrance for you.
How do I remove used wax from my warmer?
The easiest method is the cotton ball technique: while the wax is still warm and liquid, place a cotton ball or cotton pad into the dish and allow it to absorb the wax. Once absorbed, simply lift it out and dispose of it. Alternatively, allow the wax to cool and solidify completely, then pop it out with a spoon or butter knife. Never pour liquid wax down the drain.
